Collection: Girls Wrestling Gear
Girls wrestling is the fastest-growing part of the sport — over 74,000 high school girls wrestled last season, up 15% in a single year. Most gear brands still haven't noticed. Everything here works exactly the same on a girls' roster as a boys'.
Sizing wrestling shoes for girls
Wrestling shoes are listed in US men's/youth sizes. To convert from a women's street size, go down 1.5 sizes — a women's 8.5 is roughly a men's 7. The LE 1.0 runs youth 1Y to adult 13, which covers nearly every girls' roster from youth club through varsity. The fit guidance is the same for everyone: snug and sock-like, no dead space. The knee sleeve is sized by leg measurement and the apparel is standard unisex sizing.
Full details in the size chart guide, and if you're starting out, the beginner checklist covers what you actually need for your first season.
Are wrestling shoes unisex?
Yes — almost all wrestling shoes, ours included, are one design listed in men's/youth sizing. There's no functional difference to look for; just convert your size (down 1.5 from women's) and prioritize a snug fit.
What does a girl need to start wrestling?
The same starter list as anyone: wrestling shoes, practice clothes, and a knee sleeve once you're drilling shots regularly. Your school provides the singlet for competition. Headgear rules vary by state — ask your coach.
